What a great day!! I hosted a World Card Making Day Party from 10-2 at my house in my new "classroom" and had the best time. I taught a free class making the two cards you see here on my blog and then we spent the rest of the time chatting, sharing great organizing tips, and making more cards for the Operation Write Home organization. Between the seven people that attended we are donating a total of 26 cards. Yeah!!
Thanks, from the bottom of my heart, to all that attended and made it such a fun time!! We will definitely be doing it again soon!
In the class we talked about using negative space as a design element. Then we took the piece of paper that we used to punch the hearts out of and made a second card out of that.
Sorry for the terrible pictures. It really is the same papers. I just took the pictures at different times.
