Last week I decided to treat myself to a class. I spend so much of my time teaching my own classes and doing design work that I don't get to craft for fun very often. So I thought what better way to force myself to create for fun than to take a class.
I have been wanting to take an online class at Online Card Classes for some time now. I have always been a big fan of Jennifer McGuire and Kristina Werner and they really know how to give a first class online course experience. The one that is going on right now is called Kick Start and we have already gotten some wonderful tips on how to kick start your mojo which is something that everyone needs now and then. They have also invited some wonderful guests to join them. I have gotten so much out of the class already.
So for the challenge day, I decided to make this card. It is mostly based on Kristina's card but I changed it up a little bit, using stars instead of butterflies and punched holes instead of faux white stitching. I really enjoyed making this card with her on the video and just crafting. No thinking involved, just doing.
Supplies I used were This & That Graceful paper by Lori Whitlock for Echo Park, Papertrey Ink sentiment stamps, 2 inch Fiskars circle punch, EK Success star punch, Corner Rounder, Stampin Up! foam adhesive
There are lots of other classes that you can take at Online Card Classes too that are self paced. I'm not sure yet which one, but I know that I will be taking more very soon.
