I am pleased to announce that I will be part of Lori Whitlock's Creative Team this year. I am so excited about this fantastic opportunity and can't wait to share my work using her amazing products!!
I've created a special project just for this announcement using one of her Cut Files. This shadow box is so easy to put together and so much fun to decorate. You might have seen a picture of it on her blog for the announcement but I have a few extra close ups for you here on my blog.
This shadow box was completely constructed in paper. It is very sturdy and sits on a shelf easily. It was also very easy to put together. I watched Lori's video first to see how it was constructed and put it together within 15 minutes.
After the assembly, it was ready to decorate. Of course I wanted to use some of Lori Whitlock's new Echo Park paper and stickers, For the Record 2. Each section is about 1 inch deep and I add a piece of patterned paper on the bottom of each section.
This button card is part of the cut up paper in the collection. I chose buttons and then sewed them on the card. I attached the card to the back of the shadow box. Then I added twine and number blocks from Jenny Bowlin.
I tried to add depth to my project by using thick foam adhesive on some of the elements and attaching stickers flat to the back of each box.
There are also other size shadow boxes to chose from so be sure to check them all out.
I would also like to invite you to visit the other team members blogs.
These lovely ladies are returning this year.
and these are the New Creative Team Members
