I will admit that this week's challenge on the Simon Says Stamp Challenge blog had me sort of stumped at first but then one of my favorite songs popped into my head and I knew that I had the answer.
Rain Drops Keep Fallin On My Head by Burt Bacharach
My mom was a huge fan of Burt's when I was growing up so we always had one of his records playing in the house. If you scroll down you will see a link to a YouTube video of the song. Play it for old times sake. :)
So for my card I chose Tilda in Spring Rain. I colored her with Copics and then used Glossy Accents on the umbrella and boots so that they looked like rain gear. It doesn't really show in the picture but it is really cool in real life. I also added some Stickles to the lace on the umbrella and the rain drops. It's that extra bit of sparkle that really dresses it up. The paper is the 6x6 paper pad from My Mind's Eye called Happy Go Lucky. I don't usually use paper with purples in it but I actually like how it turned out. The pearls are from Kaiser and are the perfect color blue.
Supplies: Stamp- Magnolia Tilda in Spring Rain, Paper- Happy Go Lucky, Glossy Accents, Stickles, Markers- Copics, Ink- Memento Tuxedo Black, Ribbon- Stampin Up!, Pearls
