Before I get started with the information for this week's Simon Says Stamp Challenge I want to say
THANK YOU
to all of you that took the time to comment on my blog hop post. I received so many wonderful comments that made me smile. I appreciate you all so much!!
Are you ready for another fantastic challenge from the Simon Says Stamp Challenge blog? Well I hope so because we have a great one for you. Let's break out of our simple folded card blues and create something with a little more pizzaz!! This week we want to see what kind of multi fold cards you can make. I can't wait to see if someone makes one that I haven't seen yet. The designers are also featuring My Mind's Eye or Jillibean Soup papers so if you have them be sure to use them. I used the 6x6 paper pad from My Mind's Eye called Everyday Flair.
This multi fold is called Criss Cross and I got the directions to make it off of Splitcoast Stampers. The tutorial is created by Beate Johns who is a amazing stamper and has also created many other multi fold tutorials. Click here for the Criss Cross card tutorial.
Here is the closeup of the image that I colored with Copics. I have been trying some new coloring techniques and really love how it is turning out. I still have a lot more practice to go though. The Tilda that I used is called Tilda with Cute Skirt. Fun name I think. I love her sweet skirt too. The flowers on the card are new ones called Mini Canterbury Teal from Petaloo. They come in about 10 different colors and are the perfect size for cards.
I hope to see your card in our link list. As always there is a fantastic prize for one random poster.
A $50 Credit Voucher from Simon Says Stamp!! That is a lot of stamps!! Just create a multi fold card and link it to the Simon Says Stamp Challenge blog under the multi fold card post.
I would also like to enter my card into the following challenges.
Papertake Weekly Challenges- Anything Goes, the DT has all made cards with the new LOTV stamps. They are gorgeous and you should definitely check them out.
