Today's card is a criss cross card. This is the first kind of this card that I have tried and I thought it was so fun. It is not a complicated card to make but it does help to have some good directions to go by for the folds and cuts. Click here for a tutorial by Beate at Splitcoast stampers. You might notice I used the same colors on this card as I did with some of the cards on previous posts. I just love this color combination. The patterned paper that I used on this card is called Cutie Pie, made by Stampin Up! and is where I got the inspiration for the color combination. The good news is that this patterned paper will not be retiring. I was so glad to see that as this is one of my favorite papers. Most of the other Stampin Up! Designer Series Paper is retiring though so if there is one of them that you like be sure to get them while you can. Here is the list of retiring papers.
Retiring Stampin Up! papers: Brocade Background, Cerise, Charbon, Creepy Crawly, Darling Doodles, Dashing, Petals & Paisleys, Linen Prints, Notations No. 2, Outlaw, Uptown, Wintergreen
