No more Baseball

Well, I hate to say it but baseball is officially over.  The tournament has ended for us.  I am sad to see it end but thankful for the rest it brings.  Playing regular season is always time consuming but playing All-Stars is truly a full time committment.  Practice or games every night for a month.  Not being able to do anything fun during the day because you don't want to wear the kids out before practice.  But we love doing it and Brett loves it too.  I get such a thrill out of watching him out there hitting those balls, making the outs.  During the tournament I was given the job of official team photographer.  I got so many great pictures.  Around 400 actually after editing the bad ones out.  I am going to put them in a slideshow for the parents.  Anyone know of any good baseball songs I can use?  Anyway, here are a couple of Brett. 

Another week gone by

Wow, I can't believe how fast the summer is speeding by already.  Before I know it it's going to be July.  July is going to be a great month but it's also going to be super busy and I am getting worried about getting all my swaps done for convention.  Oh well, I'll get done what I can, I suppose.  Today I wanted to share a couple more of the cards that I have made recently and give a little information about the scrapbook class that I will be having July 8th after my catalog kickoff party.  Here is a card using one of my favorite stamp sets that will continue to hang around for the next catalog. 

Supplies used:  Stamps- Be Happy;  Cardstock-Pixie Pink, Gable Green, So Saffron, Whisper White;  Ink- Gable Green, Pixie Pink, Tempting Turquoise;  Accessories- Mat Pack, SU ribbon, SU dimensionals.

Here is another card that was fun and easy to do.  Sometimes simple is just the best way to go.  I just stamped some hearts across a piece of white cardstock and colored them in with the Watercolor crayons.  I just love the hearts from this set.  I hope that this makes it into the new catalog.

I can't believe that there is only a couple more weeks left before the new catalog comes out.  I know that a lot of people like me are anxiously waiting for it to arrive.  I will be hosting my new catalog party July 8th to celebrate it's arrival.  I would like to extend an invitation to anyone living in the Birmingham, Alabama area to attend.   Even if you don't live in my area feel free to email me and I will see what we can do to get you involved.  Here is a sneek peek at what will be happening that day.

New cards

I may not have been blogging lately but I've been busy stamping.  Wow, I have so many different projects going right now.  I've always got more than a couple lists in my mind at one time.  The need to list, the should do list, and the want to list.  Well, in the last couple of days I've been trying to work on some of all of these lists.  Truly, I am happy with the amount that I have gotten done but there's is always more to keep me busy tomorrow.  One project that I am working on is my Stampin Up! Scrapbook Class.  I will be teaching that July 8th.  I will be giving some highlights of that upcoming class soon.  If you are interested in attending please email me.  I have also been working on my Splitcoast Blogger RAK cards.  I've sent out 6 in the last week.  I am trying to be better about getting more in the mail.  I also have a baby gift album to finish and swaps to work on for the Stampin Up! convention I am going to at the end of July.  I really don't know how I am going to get it all done.  It's going to be non stop stamping from here on out.  Here are a couple of cards that I made.  I really love the color combos on the card below.  I am really going to miss the Cool Carribean color.  I hope someday they bring it back someday.  I also hope the set that I used on these two cards will be put in the new catalog.  I just love the set Love Matters.  I have used almost every stamp in the set in some way or another.  The hearts are great, the sayings are sweet and the doodling is just too cute.
