It's an Animal Antics challenge this week on the Simon Says Challenge blog. The design team is using Stampabilities animal stamps this week but you can use any animal stamps that you own.
I decided to make a shaped card this week with my Spellbinders die. It's really easy to do. Just fold your paper over and place it lower on the die so that part of the top of the die is showing above the paper. Then run it through your die cutting machine like normal and you will get this result. It's fun to experiment with many of the Spellbinder's dies. I used the open scalloped circles because I thought that they would be really dainty and pretty for my card.
The 6x6 paper I used is from My Mind's Eye. It is called Lost & Found Market Street. On one of the sheets of paper is the banner that you see on my card. I just cut it out to use as my sentiment. I thought that this would make a cute card for a little girl who liked ballerinas.
The flowers on my card are from my Petaloo stash!! I love these flowers. They are the perfect size for cards and come in many different colors. The die cut leaves are attached to them so basically I can just stick them down and go. Love that ease!
Well I hope to see your card in our Linky line up this week on the Simon Says Stamp Challenge blog. Just create a card with an animal on it, blog about it and link up your blog post. It's that easy!! There is a $50 gift certificate for one lucky person who enters.
Take care!
