Well do we have a fun challenge for you this week on Simon Says Stamp Challenge blog!! I don't know about you but most every card that I create has some sort of die cuts on them and My Favorite Things are some of my most favorite dies!! I've got two of them on this card plus a gorgeous little girl from the My Favorite Things Pure Innocence line. I just couldn't resist this stamp. Such a cute little teddy all bandaged up. A perfect Get Well card!
As you can see in my card I used the Open Scalloped Doily dies as a design element rather than a mat. This die comes in three different sizes and the two that I used are packaged together. The larger on is found here. I also love this sweet little Fancy Flourish Die. It is the perfect size for any card. I love that I can attach it in one place and leave the rest loose to create some movement and dimension.
The stamp that I used is also from My Favorite Things. It is called Pure Innocence Better Get Better. It also comes with two sentiments of which I used one. My little girl is colored with Copics and popped up with foam dots. I also used some My Minds Eye paper called Hazel from the Stella Rose collection.
So this week's challenge is to create a card with punches or die cuts on it. Of course if you have some from My Favorite Things well then please use them!
