It's time again for the Bo Bunny blog hop and I am so glad that you hopped on by. We have a brand new guest designer with us this month and when you complete the hop you will find out who she is. Let me give you a little hint to see if you can guess her name before the end.
Recently our June's guest designer celebrated her 17th wedding anniversary. She is also an excellent photographer.
Along the way you might find some fun blog candy so be sure to stop by each designer's blog. If you didn't get to start at the beginning then start here at Kristin's blog.
I really loved using Roughin It! on this layout. Those chipboard stickers are awesome. Can you see the fantastic detail and dimension that they give?
I also had a fantastic time altering the Bo Bunny alpha chipboard. I learned this little trick from one of the other girls on the team. I used my Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder to create the texture. You ink the texture side of the folder with your favorite color and then put the chipboard letters in the folder and run it through your die cut machine. The ink will transfer to the letters and the texture will be embossed onto the chipboard letters.
Your next stop is Patti's blog. But before you leave be sure to leave a comment telling me if you like to camp or hike. I've got a special "mini" surprise for one lucky commenter.
Have a "hoppy" day!!

Hi Christine!

OMG I love the idea of how you did your chipboard letters. I have never seen or head of that. I love it and can't wait to finish the Bunny Hop so I can go and try it. I love to camp. I camped alot when I was young and even when I was pregnant with my child, during a hurricane. It was interesting to say the least. I will be back to see what your up to!!!!

Now that our children are 3 and 6, we are starting to go camping this summer. The outdoors is a great place to learn and adventure

Great layout! I love to camp and hike. I get to hike in Yellowstone this weekend with the kids and "rough it" in a cabin-it's a bit too cold up there still to camp.

WHat a great idea to use ink with the embossing folders! I am going to have to try that on out for sure!
Posted by: Kristal Flynn | May 28, 2010 at 01:33 PM
Well, not much of a camp or hiking kind of gal. Unless I can "camp" out on a deck chair of a cruise ship! Love your LO and the embossing idea. Going to have to try that one.

Wow, love your layering with the Roughin' It papers, good technique tip too with the letters.
I'm looking forward to my camping trip this year; I'm turning 35 and it will be such a party at the campsite!
I'll be sure to hop back to your blog again to see what else you have been creating!

I'm most definately not an outdoor person! i hate bugs and rain (which is all england ever gets - lol)
I love the papers so will have to suck it up and take my little man for the first time (he's 3) maybe i can learn to enjoy the outdoors! I've just bought him his first bike so maybe we can take that out with us!

Our families did a lot of camping when the children were little. Now my husband and I are anticipating buying a motor home so we can travel during our retirement years. We have a lot of good camping memories and look forward to a lot of RV memories.

Just hopped onto your blog. I'm afraid I'm not a huge fan of camping or hiking - the weather here in the UK rarely makes sleeping under canvas a pleasant experience!
