We have lots of good stuff at Scrapbook Mania right now and so much more on the way. Twilight from Pink Paislee showed up yesterday and I finished my mini book using it today. I loved working with this paper line. So fun and spooky. Perfect for my '07 yearly Halloween costume photo shoot. That year the kid's costumes were a wee bit scary.
Warning: This post is very photo heavy as I am posting all of the pages in the book.
Here is the cover. I cut the book using an Accu-Cut die. I just love this mix-it-up album. Then I bound it with my Bind-It-All.
Don't you just love those glittery letters. Green from Pink Paisley, Black from American Crafts.
I used a lot of the journaling cards as accents. The chipboard swirls are new from Maya Road. I used my heat and stick to glitter them up with some Doodlebug glitter.
The clear sticker that you see running across the bottom of this page is awesome. I have used many of these along the bottom of the pages in this album. Take note of the moon. I punched it out of some of the patterned paper and then painted on some Summer Sun Shimmerz to give it a glow. A few rub ons and some SU! stamps completes the page.
Here are some fun diecuts from my Silhouette. A little Shimmerz on the crow and some Black Stickles on the vine. The ribbon is also new at the store. Perfect for those Halloween pages and albums.
The kraft pieces that you are seeing throughout the album are also new Maya Road at the store. They are journaling cards and I had so much fun stamping on them and using them as accents.
I made a little pocket for the journaling square from Maya Road.
Some retired Stampin Up! stamps.
This page has some of those clear border stickers on it.
The back cover. I love these fabric patches in this Twilight line. You can distress them and you can pull them apart to get a rough edge. I inked it up with a Ranger distressing ink pad, Peeling Paint.
This Twilight paper line from Pink Paislee is absolutely perfect for those "ghoulish" Halloween pictures that you have. Make sure to stop by Scrapbook Mania before it's all gone!

Christine,
I love this mini album. You have definitely gotten me in the mood for the halloween spirit. I like the Pink Paislee paper line.

This book is AMAZING! Can you share how you made the backdrop for the pictures - it makes SUCH a difference! Love it!!

Hi Cheryl, Thank you for your wonderful comments. I love taking Halloween pictures of my kids and the neighborhood kids. The backdrop is something that I had bought when I had my own photography studio. I also use my portrait lights. Having the right tools is really half the battle. You can make your own background on muslin with paint. Just paint it a couple of different colors and hang in your garage. You can find all kinds of info on how to make your own garage studio on the internet.
Thanks for stopping by. I hope you will come back again soon,
Christine
